Want to make society a better place?

We are the Behavioural Insights Team, a unique organisation. We started life in 2010 inside No.10 Downing Street as the world’s first government institution dedicated to the application of behavioural sciences. We are now a world-leading consulting organisation with offices in London, New York, and Sydney. Our mission is to help organisations in the UK and overseas achieve social impact through the use of behavioural insights and rigorous evaluation.

How you’ll grow

You’ll benefit from a structured development programme that will include:

  • A policy school induction;
  • A personalised training plan;
  • In-depth exposure to policy design and decision-makers;
  • Regular seminars with world class thought leaders.

What we’re looking for

You will need to have a relevant degree in economics, psychology or related discipline and some understanding of the behavioural science literature.  Above all, you will need to have the right motivation: to improve policies and be passionate about using and developing evidence.  BIT is passionate about its values – social impact, empiricism and humility, fresh thinking, collaboration and public service. Our offer to you

The Behavioural Insights Team has a relaxed and non-hierarchical culture. The company is part owned by all of our staff and we regularly eat together; play sport; and socialise. If this sounds like the type of organisation you would like to work for and you have the right skills – we would like to nudge you in the right direction.
