Bloomberg - People Analytics Senior Manager

The People Analytics team is responsible for defining, analyzing and executing on projects that utilize data for reporting and analytics, including aggregating key business information related to our talent, utilizing data driven insights and predictive modeling to solve complex business problems, and creating opportunities to partner with business units to drive business and process improvement s to manage our talent lifecycle.
People are our most important asset and effective data management and reporting is critical to keeping our people safe, delivering the best work experience for our staff and maximizing the impact of each individual to the organization. The People Analytics Senior Analyst will work directly with the People Analytics Business Analyst, Reporting Analysts and HR Business Partners by utilizing statistical and analytical approaches to provide critical support related to organizational health issues.

Key Responsibilities:
- Apply statistical techniques and data driven analysis to identify and solve complex business problems and questions
- Play a pivotal role in developing and managing research that addresses critical HR issues
- Develop predictive models to identify, track and measure key HR issues
- Work on research ideas, prototypes and experiments in collaboration with key stakeholders in HR and the business
- Participate in the evaluation, analysis and communication of key findings and recommendations

- Communicate data insights, key findings and recommendations and influence leaders to take action on those recommendations

Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 year' experience in the use of statistics in HR related data analysis
- Experience in the social sciences (Social Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Behavioral Economics or a related field)
- Advanced degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Social Sciences, Physical Sciences or a related field
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills, familiarity with advanced spreadsheets
- Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
- Superior written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills and experience presenting to senior / executive leadership teams
- Ability to manage multiple projects in parallel, work collaboratively with teams and as an individual contributor
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Strong interest in research, data, metrics and analysis
- Strong understanding of statistical tools (SPSS, SAS, R)
- Knowledge of SQL, VBA
